Triathlon Club Showdown

Battle your division throughout TriFest for MS weekend and earn the title of Club Champion.
How the Tri Club Championship Works
The TriFest for MS Tri Club Championship gives teams a way to compete together throughout race weekend while celebrating every athlete who crosses the finish line. During registration, racers select their team or club affiliation. Official tri clubs, corporate teams, and individual groups can all participate. Teams earn points when members complete eligible races, place on the podium, earn overall podium bonuses, or finish the Trifesta. To keep the competition fair, teams are grouped into divisions based on the number of registered racers and are scored only against other teams in their division. The top-scoring team in each division takes home a championship trophy.
How Teams Score
Teams earn points throughout TriFest weekend when their athletes complete eligible races and place on the podium. Every racer who crosses the finish line earns 2 participation points for their team. Podium finishes add extra points, with 6 points for first place, 4 points for second place, and 2 points for third place. Athletes who earn an overall podium placement receive an additional 5-point bonus, and anyone who completes the Trifesta earns another 5 bonus points. Racers must finish their event to score, and teams are scored only against other teams in their division.
Eligible Events
Teams can earn Tri Club Championship points by participating in select TriFest for MS weekend events. Eligible races include the Celebrate! Arkansas Corporate Relay Challenge, Sprint, Super Sprint, Olympic, AQBike, and Trifesta. Points are awarded based on race completion, podium placement, overall podium bonuses, and Trifesta completion. Every eligible finish helps move your club closer to the championship trophy.
Key Rules
To keep the Tri Club Championship fair and consistent, teams must have at least 3 registered team members to score. Racers must finish their race to earn points, and volunteer shifts do not count toward team scoring. Teams compete only against other teams within their assigned division, which is based on the number of registered racers. The top-scoring team in each division wins a championship trophy.
Team Divisions
Tri Club Championship teams are grouped into divisions based on the number of individual racers registered for TriFest weekend. This helps keep the competition fair by matching teams of similar size against one another. Division V includes 3–10 racers, Division IV includes 11–20 racers, Division III includes 21–33 racers, Division II includes 34–47 racers, and Division I includes 48 or more racers. Teams are scored only against other teams in their division, and the top team in each division wins a trophy.
